I grew up in Mumbai with a love of reading, long walks, and trying to figure out how things work. I was originally interested in theoretical physics when I started my undergraduate at BITS-Pilani's Hyderabad Campus, getting my first research experience at TIFR. I found my way to astrophysics during my PhD at Rutgers when I took a graduate cosmology course taught by Prof. Eric Gawiser, who eventually became my PhD advisor.

Most of my papers can be found via Google Scholar or ADS, and code on GitHub.

Apart from astronomy, I am passionate about writing code, tinkering with all sorts of things, photography, TTRPGs and improv. I am still very fond of reading, and occasionally dabble in a variety of writing, ranging from fiction to poetry to outreach.
